INDY-Energy Resilience of Military Camps

INDY (Energy Independent and Efficient Deployable Military Camps) was a project funded through the European Defence Fund, focused on developing a strategic approach to energy-independent and more efficient deployable military camps. The project covered different technologies for energy generation, conversion, storage and management, with the aim of reducing dependence on external energy supplies.

Within the project, LOOPER technology was considered as one of the solutions for decentralised waste processing and local energy production. Indeloop contributed by assessing the potential application of thermochemical waste conversion in military camps and evaluating the feasibility of such systems. The results of INDY laid the foundation for the further development of energy solutions for military camps, including the SENTINEL project.
