Technology Validation Through
Applied and EU-Supported Projects

Indeloop's technology development is supported by numerous international and EU-supported projects. These projects help validate the technical concept across different feedstocks, use cases, and deployment environments, while also supporting the development of new valorisation pathways for process outputs.

Backed by EU Funding
& International Partnerships

Indeloop's R&D portfolio is structured around real applied projects — from textile-waste pilots to large-scale hydrogen initiatives and military-camp deployments. Each project validates the LOOPER under different operational conditions, with different feedstocks, capacities, and end-user expectations.

Funding from EU and international bodies allows us to test, iterate, and de-risk the technology in collaboration with research institutes, industry partners, and end-users — well before commercial deployment.

Our Active R&D Portfolio

Internationally and EU-supported projects validating the LOOPER across diverse use cases — from textile waste and sewage sludge to hydrogen production, defence-sector deployment, and circular construction materials.

MWMGS
With co-funding from Innovation Norway, Indeloop developed and built its first pilot plant for the thermochemical conversion of textile waste into syngas and biochar.
Innovation Norway View Project
S2H2
Scaling the LOOPER from TRL 6 to TRL 8 — converting up to 25 tonnes of sewage sludge per day into ultra-pure (99.97 %) hydrogen for the automotive sector.
Innovation Fund View Project
ACCEL
A scientific and research project led by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb — developing technology for permanent CO₂ binding within secondary raw materials and net-zero construction products.
Academic R&D View Project
AshCycle
A European research-and-innovation project advancing the circular economy through advanced valorisation of solid by-products from thermochemical waste treatment — with field-deployed proof points.
Horizon Europe View Project
SENTINEL
An EDF-funded development project focused on innovative energy systems for military barracks and camps — reducing armed-forces dependence on fossil fuels through advanced energy technologies, mobility, smart micro-grids, and digital energy solutions.
European Defence Fund View Project
NAHV
Regional hydrogen initiative — Croatia, Slovenia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
