Conversion of Non-Recyclable Textile Waste into Syngas

Conversion of Non-Recyclable Textile Waste into Syngas

MWMGS is a pilot project focused on the development and demonstration of LOOPER technology for converting non-recyclable textile waste into hydrogen-rich syngas. As part of the project, a plant with a processing capacity of up to 1 tonne of waste per day was developed for operation under real industrial conditions.

The pilot plant was installed and demonstrated at Humana Nova in Čakovec, enabling process testing with real textile waste streams. The project represented an important step in the development of LOOPER technology towards higher capacities and commercial applications.
