Sustainable Energy Capabilities for Enhanced Military Camps and Operations
An EDF-funded development project focused on innovative energy systems for military barracks and camps — reducing armed-forces dependence on fossil fuels through advanced energy technologies, mobility, smart micro-grids, and digital energy solutions.
Sustainable Energy Capabilities for Enhanced Military Camps and Operations
SENTINEL is a development project under the European Defence Fund focused on innovative energy systems for military barracks and camps — with the objective of reducing the armed forces’ dependence on fossil fuels.
The project will prototype and test 17 key energy capabilities, including advanced energy technologies, enhanced mobility, digital energy solutions, and the integration of smart micro-grids — across five realistic test scenarios.
Building on INDY
SENTINEL extends the EDF INDY project from 2021, which Indeloop participated in (through DOK-ING) and successfully completed.
Indeloop’s Role
Indeloop is responsible for developing the syngas-cleaning process on the existing demo plant developed through the MWMGS project, to be tested at several SENTINEL test sites.
