Conversion of Non-Recyclable Waste from Military Camps into Syngas
The SENTINEL project demonstrates the application of LOOPER technology in military camps, where selected waste streams are processed at the point of generation and converted into syngas for local energy production. This simultaneously reduces the need for waste transport and dependence on external energy supplies.
The project focuses on validating decentralised waste processing under conditions relevant to military operations, with the aim of increasing logistical resilience and making more efficient use of locally available resources. SENTINEL is funded through the European Defence Fund.
