Prime Minister Plenković Visits Indeloop’s Waste-to-Energy System
The Prime Minister and members of the Government were introduced to LOOPER technology for converting waste into energy and hydrogen.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković visited Indeloop’s Zagreb headquarters on 4 November 2024, where he was presented with development projects in the fields of energy and waste conversion technology. The visit also included a presentation of LOOPER, the technology now being developed by Indeloop.
During the visit, the team presented the thermochemical conversion of selected waste streams, including sewage sludge, with the aim of producing syngas and developing solutions for hydrogen production. Minister of Economy Ante Šušnjar and Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition Marija Vučković also attended the visit.
The visit provided an opportunity to present technological developments that connect waste management, energy and hydrogen production, and the circular use of locally available resources. The solutions presented form part of the long-term development of the technology towards applications in industrial and energy systems.
